Do I need to buy anything to play?
No. Joining gives you your first Card, and Cards are only ever earned: by joining, inviting a friend, winning a contest, or climbing the season. There is no pay-to-win.
What are tickets and ballots?
A ticket is what gets you into a contest as a stylist. A ballot is a vote you spend judging someone else’s look. Every Card carries a supply of both, and you earn more as you climb.
How is my vote weighted?
Every vote is cast with a Card, and each Card carries a different weight. Back looks that go on to rank well and your weight grows, so your taste counts for more over time. Back weak looks consistently and it shrinks.
Inside the app this is shown as Voting Power, the number that rides on each ballot you cast.
What stops people gaming the votes?
- Every vote costs something. Votes are cast with Cards, and Cards are earned, so a fresh account can’t flood the system.
- Limited votes per contest. Each person can only judge a set number of looks, which balances the field and stops mass voting.
- Multiple Cards, different weight. Holding several Cards doesn’t multiply your influence. They start at different strengths.
- Earned, not bought. Only real, useful participation raises your weight. There is nothing to purchase.
Can I compete and vote at the same time?
Yes, the roles overlap. Stylists build looks and enter them. Voters judge which looks deserve to rise. Viewers just browse the winners. Most people do all three.
What is the season?
A month-long ladder that everyone climbs together, then resets. Your position on it is a single score that goes up when you style well and judge well.
There are five steps. Reach one and you unlock its reward, and the cash pool for that step splits equally between everyone who got there.
What do I actually win?
- Cash prizes. Real money, not points, not credits, not store balance.
- More ballots, so you have more say across the contests you enter.
- More tickets, so you can enter more contests.
- New Cards, which grow in weight the more you play.
